Buza Bar in Dubrovnik - An awesome secret cliff bar!

I must say that the sunset over the Adriatic was my favourite one in the Balkans…

Maybe it was the environment though a secret cliff bar, which I found after wandering through the Old Town.

Find out how you can visit this awesome setting and enjoy one of the best Balkans destinations in a quirky way!

During my first solo travel trip last summer, Dubrovnik was the starting point, and one of the highlights.

The cliff bar was one of many surreal spots in an ancient city full of character!

Buza Bar (‘Hole in the wall’) is built into the city walls that once protected Dubrovnik from invaders centuries ago, however, it now serves a different purpose - to offer unbeatable views of beautiful Croatian sunsets.

As the sky turns from blue to pink to orange over the ‘pearl of the Adriatic’, there is no better way to admire it, than with a nice refreshing drink and laid back vibe, which Buza Bar Dubrovnik has in abundance.

The bar was originally built as a secret spot where the locals could escape the heat during the summer months.

Over the years, the bar has been expanded and renovated, but it still retains its rustic charm and historical significance.

The bar is run by a local family who takes pride in preserving the bar's history and tradition. The family has also added their own touches to the bar's decor, making it a unique and memorable spot in Dubrovnik.

Sunset drinks at Buza Bar Dubrovnik.

Watching the sunset at Buza Bar Dubrovnik is a contender for the best spot in Dubrovnik, alongside the famous cable car.

As the sun starts to set behind the Old Town, the sky turns into a mesmerising mix of colours.

The sea reflects the colours of the sky, creating a stunning visual display. You will find yourself in the perfect vantage point for views of the famous Lokrum Island also.

The atmosphere at the bar becomes even more relaxed and inviting during sunset, with people from all over the world coming together to enjoy the view.

The bar offers a wide range of drinks, including cocktails, wine, beer, and soft drinks. The prices are reasonable, considering the bar's location and the quality of the drinks. The bar is particularly known for its Mojitos, which are made with fresh mint and lime.

The drinks are served in plastic cups, so you don't have to worry about accidentally dropping a glass over the cliff - which is likely to be filled with adventurous cliff jumpers.
